Our first food blog is a happy one - esp since we were at the Happiest Place on Earth! DISNEYLAND!
Napa Rose is an award-winning restaurant that has an ever-changing menu to ensure you continually get a new and exciting experience. We have eaten here once before in September 2011 and it was exceptional the first time around so we were very excited to be sharing our Christmas dinner here as well.
Christmas evening menu (see picture below) was prix fixe with a few options for our 4 course Christmas dinner.

___
Lindsay had:
1. Ginger mint beef pot stickers
2. Salad
3. Angus Beef Filet
4. Fuji Apple Upside-Down cake
___
Russell had:
1. Dungeness crab stuffed peppers
2. Signature holiday soup
3. Roasted Christmas Goose
4. Chilled pear soup
___
Our favorites:
- Russell: Christmas goose - cooked PERFECTLY and flavor was amazing

- Lindsay: Pot stickers & Christmas goose - Pot stickers were delicious! And the same as above for the goose.

___
What we loved:
- The food was amazing and the serving sizes for both the food and wine were very generous. We shared every plate so we could both try everything.
- Lindsay was served first. We always appreciate when the wait staff serves the women at the table first.
- Wine pairings were recommended and he let us taste a few of the wines we had reservations about prior to completing the full pour.
- Both meats, goose & filet, were cooked to perfection!
- Every person we walked by told us Merry Christmas and welcomed us into the restaurant. We really felt like they all wanted to be there and wanted to be sure we had an amazing experience.
- At the end of the meal we approached he head chef and thanked him for the meal. He was humbly surprised that we said thank you and thanked US and told us it was nice to meet us. Very sweet!
- Price was surprisingly great for the meal and wine pairings! Always a great surprise.
LOVE FOOD. ENJOY LIFE.
